Terms & Conditions - All Clients

We do know that nobody books a retreat with the plan to cancel, but sometimes ‘life happens’ and we recommend that you have travel and /or event business insurance that will cover you should you need to cancel your trip or retreat, at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances.

Retreat Cancellation

If we, Retreat Yourself NZ must cancel (not run) a booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full payment to another retreat package and date, or you may request a full refund of your payment (minus the Corporate Retreat Retainer Fee) to us constituting a full settlement.

Early Cancellation

If you cancel with at least 60 days notice prior to the scheduled arrival date, you will receive a full refund, minus a $150 per person administrative cancellation fee, (and our $500* administration fee *Corporate Clients only

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made less than 59 days from the retreat's start date will result in the deposit being non-refundable.

No Refund

Cancellations made less than 14 days before the retreat's start date are non-refundable.

No-Show

If you fail to attend the retreat, there will be no refund.

Early or Late Arrival / Departure

Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early on your booked retreat package.

Credit

You can apply the full retreat fee toward another retreat with Retreat Yourself NZ within 18 months of your cancellation date. No monetary refund will be provided, and cancellations must be made with at least two weeks' notice.

Retreat Cancellations

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before entering into our Entire Agreement. Naturally, no-one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things happen, so please be sure to take the time to read our booking terms and conditions, including our cancellation policy.
 

Definitions

“Cancellation” is defined as not attending your specifically reserved date of any Retreat Yourself NZ package, including postponing or rescheduling.
“You” refers to you as our client, and or “your” guests that book a retreat , with Retreat Yourself NZ
“We” “Our” refers to Retreat Yourself NZ
 

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance coverage is mandatory to attend a Retreat. Simple medical assistance is costly overseas, so it is mandatory to have travel insurance to cover this should the need arise. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 7 days of making your reservation. Most importantly, please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for all relevant activities that you will be engaging in on your retreat package, especially any action sports like surfing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, cycling, rafting. You are welcome to choose ANY international travel insurance provider.
 

Refund Processing

Retreat Yourself NZ is not responsible for any costs or fees associated with refunding payments. Your receiving bank may charge a fee to process the refund into your account, and this cost is not payable by Retreat Yourself. All refunds take a maximum of 30 days to process.

Social Media Clause

In consideration of participating in the retreat, you agree that any photographs, videos, or other media captured during the event, including those in which you may be included, may be used by Retreat Yourself and its affiliates for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes, both online and offline, without any further consent or notification required.

Privacy Policy

We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc. when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request. This information is only used to fulfill your particular request unless you give us permission to use it in another manner, for example, to add you to one of our mailing lists.
All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties’

Limitations of 
Liability

Retreat Yourself NZ, we will not be liable to you (whether under the law of contact, the law of torts or otherwise) in relation to the contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with, or any direct illness, medical situation, legal or political event that may impact you or your clients (guests), during or post retreat. This includes and is not limited to any loss; for any indirect, special, or consequential loss; or for any business losses, loss of revenue, income, profits or anticipated savings, loss of contracts or business relationships, loss of reputation or goodwill, or loss or corruption of information or data. Your individual dealings with your clients are separate from our, Retreat Yourself NZ Entire Agreement of services provided to you as our client. These limitations of liability apply even if Retreat Yourself has been expressly advised of the potential loss. or other.
 
 
 

Terms and Conditions as above and Corporate Clients

Duty of Care

Our People

Our responsibility is not only to how we as individuals, and as a retreat providers contribute to the safety and care of; you our clients; but also to our industry eco-system; and the communities we visit. It is our responsibility to support our service partners; and our clients alike by adhering to our Retreat Yourself values of respecting the countries we visit, their culture and sustainability strategies to protect their country and environment, inclusive of wildlife and animals.

 

Our Duty of Care Extends to Existing Condition Disclosure Policy

If you/or your clients have a pre-exisiting substance dependence, eating disorder, psychological (phobias, traumas) or significant medical conditions, please be aware that our Retreat Yourself, retreats are not for medical or rehabilitation purposes. Retreat Yourself does not offer any medical or psychological recovery or rehabilitation assistance for any of these conditions. We are a holistic wellness retreat offering natural therapies and experiences for general wellbeing.  If you have a pre-existing condition that may affect your physical or mental experience on the retreat, or may affect your interaction with other guests or our team, we respectfully ask that you make us aware of this at time of booking.  This is important so that we can help assess if a Retreat Yourself , retreat is right for you. If any preexisting condition is not revealed to us at booking, and later puts yourself, or others, in a situation of not being able to provide adequate care or alleviate discomfort, then we retain the right to cancel your retreat without providing a refund or credit; forfeiting all payment.

 

Your Responsibility

We highly recommend all your clients, and /or guests complete a booking form, that highlights personal details, emergency contact information, medical history, dietary requirements and health concerns. ​Relaying this information to us to ensure a duty of care is highly recommended. We are not responsible for any health or medical events that may occur while on retreat for your group team or self. (Refer to Liability and Travel Insurance)

Retreat Yourself Package Payment Policy

Retreat Yourself retreat package rates are in NZ $ per person. After a confirmation has been emailed to you, a courtesy 10% deposit hold requires payment within 3 days (72hrs) to secure the reservation. Once payment is received a payment confirmation and receipt is sent via email within 24 hours. Payments are accepted via International Bank Transfer in NZ $. We can not accept any other currencies for bank transfers. Please note that overseas bank transfers and credit card payments may attract additional international transaction fees from that are not included in the retreat package price. You are responsible to pay all banking fees, so that full payment amount of your retreat package rate is received.

Corporate Retreat Admin Fee

When you enter into the Entire Agreement (after the bespoke package has been created, from your initial consultation and enquiry meetings; a non refundable admin fee is required of NZ $500.  This is a binding agreement, that all further retreat details will be worked through in consultation with the parties involved to further develop and execute your retreat.

Package Deposits

A per person 10% deposit is required within 21 days to secure accommodations. The balance payment for the entire retreat package will need to be settled in full 30 days in advance of the retreat start date to confirm the booking. A courtesy reminder email will be sent. If the deposit balance payment is not settled by 30 days in advance, the held space will be released (cancelled).  Also, if you choose to reschedule (see Retreat Cancellations below) your original retreat date, while holding the space with your retreat retainer (NZ$500), plus a 10% deposit, the original rate lock guarantee is forfeited and the deposit will be applied to the current published rates at time of rebooking. You must submit your signed Entire Agreement form along with your retreat retainer fee, within one week of booking. Upon receiving your signed Entire Agreement you will receive our Bank Transfer and Wise Account details for your Corporate Retreat administration fee of NZ $500, then Per person Package deposits are required as above.

Entire Agreement

Together with a commitment from both parties towards a;Responsibility of Duty of Care, Existing Condition Disclosure Policy, Booking Terms and Conditions, Cancelations and Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Limitations of Liability, these terms and conditions constitute the Entire Agreement between you, your business, organisation and we, Retreat Yourself NZ.
