A once-in-a-lifetime stay
Why sleep in a hotel when you can spend the night in a world-class bird sanctuary?
Kapiti Island Nature Tours lodge is on the northern end of the Island, a private oasis, with sweeping ocean or bush views.
Fall asleep to the stillness of the Islands silence, with its Off Grid, low impact ethos. With stunning views of the bush-covered hillsides, and a cacophony of native birdsong surrounding you, you’ll feel at home among nature in one of our cosy cabins or tents.
It is more than a bed for a night or two, it’s a chance to surround yourself with nature and enjoy genuine Māori hospitality.
The lodge boasts, humble, clean accommodation options:

Cosy Cabins with shared facilities. Cabins can be privately booked in groups of two, three, four or five.

Glamping Tents (with private toilets) and shared bathrooms.
Note: There are three glamping tents available, these must be booked, as double occupancy.

Haurora
Healing and wellbeing practices that enhance the connection to te ao wairua (the spiritual world) ~ daily yoga sessions and meditation and te ao turoa (the natural world) ~ breath work and sound healing
Manaakitanga
Hospitality includes:
Two Nights Accommodation with Kāpiti Island nature tours.
Choice of Rustic Cabin or Glamping Tent nutritious meals with vegan and vegetarian options.
Ferry transfers to and from the island.


Kotahitanga
Oneness activities include:
Department of conservation permits access to bird sanctuary and nature reserve.
