Nau mai haere mai — Welcome.

Join us on Kāpiti Island for a truly unique wellness retreat.

Just a short journey from the mainland, Kāpiti Island offers an unforgettable escape into nature, stillness, and self-care.

The combination of our exclusive location — a world-renowned nature reserve rich in culture, history, and wildlife — with guided wellness experiences is truly unparalleled.

Over three days, you’ll be invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect.
You will be held by experienced wellness facilitators, Kim and Chelsea (Te Awa Journey Retreat Hosts) and your local kaitiaki / guardians - at Kāpiti Island Nature Tours.

You’ll enjoy an intentionally designed wellness itinerary, to restore balance in mind, body, and spirit.

Expect nourishing meals, restorative movement, mindful workshops, island walks, Kiwi spotting and space to simply be.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, rest, or inspiration — this is your time.

Why sleep in a hotel when you can spend the night in a world-class bird sanctuary?

Kapiti Island Nature Tours lodge is on the northern end of the Island, a private oasis, with sweeping ocean or bush views.

The lodge boasts, humble, clean accommodation options:
